Charlie’s Beach Bar & Hire
Known best for their HUGE fish sandwiches and friendly vibe, Charlie’s is a must do while visiting the island. Whether you stop in for lunch, or an evening out while enjoying their live band from 6pm, you’ll be sure to leave with a smile on your face.
Muri Night Markets
Wanting to experience the local cuisine whilst enjoying a night out eating under the stars? Muri Night Markets is the place to be, every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Sunday from 5pm - 8pm. Think of it like the ‘street style food’ of Rarotonga.
Punanga Nui Market
The freshest local produce, island drums and dance show, local wares and fashion and of course more amazing local food. Spend your Saturday morning right, starting at 8am until 12pm.
Raro Reef Sub
A great time out for the whole family. With a glass bottom boat going out into the open ocean, they will ensure you see GIANT travelly, a range of beautiful tropical fish, a shipwreck and sometimes turtles and whales! It’s a must do!
Lagoon Cruise
Choose from two cruise companies with the tour lasting the majority of the day including a glass bottom boat, snorkelling equipment, BBQ island lunch and great entertainment!
Cross Island Trek
The hike up to the needle (pictured) is a steep incline walk, which you can continue the full hike across to the south side of the island, or if the views at the needle were enough you can descend back down the same way.
Swimming with the Turtles
There are a variety of tour operators that take guided turtle tours. This is an unforgettable experience during your stay on the island, that will have you leaving feeling humbled and oh so happy!
Snorkelling
With a number of good snorkelling spots on the island - including the beach right outside your room at Beachfront! There is a range of beautiful bright coral and tropical fish swimming in our lagoons for you to look at and enjoy.

We have amazing Wahoo, Yellow Fin Tuna and many more tropical fish in our ocean’s and what better way to taste them than catching them yourself and cooking it up on your BBQ at Beachfront!
